I didn’t publish that Robbie Williams had been at Laughlin but as soon as the media got wind of him attending the UFO conference it was like a convention of Dad’s Army’s Corporal Jones’s - Don’t panic! (8)
I received an email notification that there was an internet article, I’m Loving Aliens Instead, about Robbie Williams and producer, Jon Ronson - attending the Laughlin UFO conference - on the 19th April. (The article was dated the 18th April and appeared in the British newspaper, ‘The Guardian’ on the 20th.) Realising that the story was about to boil I left a comment and linked the article on my Features page.
Leading the charge of the slight brigade were the usual suspects: including ‘The Sun’ - Rob’s fascinated by paranormal, ‘The Star’ - Robster in hunt for ET US mission to meet alien fans, and later, somewhat disappointingly because the best journalist in the world - John Pilger - still writes for them, ‘The New Statesman’ - Master of the universe: Nearly all of them disparaging, of course.
Isn’t it fascinating then that when Ann’s first book, “Abducted” (written with Jean Ritchie) was published there was a clamour by newspapers to serialise it and 'the Sun' ended up doing so, over five days, in March, 1998? ‘The Daily Mail’ also précised the book in March 1998. I understand ‘The Sun’ has again asked to serialise the story.
Robbie Williams’ and Jon Ronson’s programme, Robbie Williams And Jon Ronson Journey To The Other Side, was aired on 6th May and the press swarmed around it like biting insects. It turned out that the programme was a spoken version of the article mentioned above (and had been written by Jon Ronson) - seems there was a bit of gun-jumping going on! Robbie’s mate, Brandon (a dark-measured and sullen man, I thought, when I saw him interrogate Ann after her talk) is clearly a person with a locked dogma who avoids, it appears, any evidence that contradicts his opinions of people’s characters. I don’t think I have ever heard anyone get someone so wrong. During the radio show (and article) he accused Ann of seeking attention and being ego-driven. Well, I’ve known Ann well for about 11 years now and never, not once, have I known her to be remotely any of those things - quite the opposite in fact.
I wonder: would Brandon have accused Galileo of egotism and attention-seeking when he announced that he could show that the Earth did revolve around the sun, if he’d been there at the time?
Actually, the more I think about it, he probably would have; his attitude and energy is certainly compatible with the Inquisition’s best-practise. Yep, I can imagine him there! He is clearly confusing ego and attention-seeking with courage and duty to ones’ fellow human beings. Yet, behind the mask I recognised a man more sensitive and caring than he shows, a genuine person, cagey, wary, supportive, divisive, abrasive, strong and not half as confident as he likes to portray. We all have life lessons and his include issues and difficulties regarding young people/children and animals - no children, siblings possibly - and the other end of the spectrum - the elderly. There’s more but that will do. It’s the programming man. Recognise it and it just might fall away.
So, could it be that this is what has happened with Robbie Williams? Because, where has that monkey gone? Is it a permanent separation? A brief respite? Or maybe another devil, more powerful than before, his way comes? Or, perhaps I’m not seeing it? About all I can say is that what I used to see with RW is no longer there; and that the person I saw in the Aquarius Hotel in Laughlin was a far more together person than I had ever seen before - entirely the polar opposite of how the media were and are describing him. Someone, if he chooses, who has far more to offer this world than he has so far - which in some ways has been tremendous already.
Come in Number 777 your time starts now. (9)
Robbie Williams singinging 'Tripping' - a song, with lyrics evoked from Mahatma Gandhi's sagacious steer - "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."
(8) Dad’s Army: The classic hilarious British sit-com about the Wartime Home Guard. Corporal Jones was famous for running around panicking and blurting out, “Don’t panic! - when faced with something to worry about. ”
(9) The name, ‘Robbie Williams’ has a numerological (energetic) value of 777. His star sign is Aquarius just like the hotel, and he's a 'four' - see 'IN THESE SIGNS CONQUER'.
I am acutely aware that, besides those who are too far indoctrinated to appreciate what I am attempting to say, that amongst the readers of this article and others on this website will be people who might benefit from some informed advice on how to heal, and protect themselves from the increasingly hostile attacks on our minds, bodies and souls.
I would like to recommend the website of Tomislav Budak and his highly readable, stimulating and informative articles? Tom's a healer, composer, musician, researcher and scholar - and a lovely warm intelligent guy. As well, Tom's articles always include useful references for readers who want to investigate matters further for themselves.
