"My Way" was shot on 23rd April (St. George's (Saturn's) Day) - befitting Sid Vicious's red, white and blue wristband - it was 17 days (the Tarot Star card) before his 21st birthday and 171 days before Nancy Spungen was discovered dead in their New York hotel rooms.

There is a place with a similar name much closer to home for him than Somerset - Clivedon in Buckinghamshire, a large palace built by the elite and a hive of occult activity since before the house was ever thought of. Sid's personal history reads like a Monarch CV. He was born 'John Simon Ritchie' to a smack junkie, Anne McDonald and a Buckingham Palace guardsman John Ritchie - who shot through, never to be heard of again, soon after he was born. (Another mysterious father in the background of a person of influence!) Simon and his mother were now living in Ibitha but in the psychedelic days of Swinging London Anne headed back to London with young Simon and worked at Ronnie Scott's jazz club (Anne called him Simon all of his life). Curiously, during this time, she met and married a well-to-do Oxford University graduate, zoologist Christopher Beverley. Little Simon Ritchie, who was now 7 became Simon Beverley. Around his neck in a wedding portrait hangs a key. (2)
Things seemed to be on the up for the boy and his mum but within 6 months Christopher Beverley had died from cancer. His parents, who lived in Wadhurst (Kent), moved their son's dependents to (Royal) Tunbridge Wells in Kent and sent Simon (Sid) to boarding school but it is said that they cared for him at weekends.
In the early 70s Simon attended Hackney Technical College where he met John Lydon (Sex Pistols' front man Johnny Rotten). According to Wikipedia Sid previously attended Clevedon Secondary Modern School in Somerset but a former pupil publicly disputes this and nobody has challenged him here. (3)
At about 11am on 12 October 1978 (a 22 and 29/11-date: refer these numbers in other articles and my books), the 103rd (13) anniversary of Crowley's hatching, Sid's girlfriend Nancy Spungen was found dead in Room 100 of the Chelsea Hotel, Manhattan. 'Vicious' was arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder. Spungen had been stabbed with a knife that she had purchased for him the previous day. It was Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, and Nancy was Jewish. Both Ritchie and Spungen deaths, though nearly four months apart, are connected to their respective culture's purification times - Imbolc and Yom Kippur.
Did Ritchie kill Spungen? Did he take his own life? I have strong doubts that he committed either. Was he mind controlled/possessed? I'd bet he was.
Ann Beverley was with her son the night he died and she was instrumental in accessing the heroin that is purported to have killed him. One report claims that before she died she admitted to administering the fatal dose.

This disquieteningly mesmeric, disturbing and iconic footage of punk rock legend Sid Vicious performing a razored version of Frank Sinatra's theme tune 'My Way' was filmed during 'the Esta' of 1978. His battle with the Darkness clearly demon-strated in his contorted face and body, his gestures, words, and the seething energy and entities surrounding him. In the last view of him he is ascending 33 steps into 'the Gods', as they say in theatre, the Paris Olympia Theatre. (Mt. Olympus is home to the 12 Greek Olympians, the most potent deities of this ancient pantheon.) The 33 steps actually represent the rise of the kundalini through the 33 vertebrae of the human spine. Exactly 9 months and 9 days afterwards he was dead (or reborn?) he'd got out of jail that day (reborn) ...and it was the beginning of February - Imbolc (meaning 'in the belly') - a time of fire and sacrifice, the birth and death of the innocent (the lambs), of sacrifice by fire. On the street heroin is known as 'Fire'. (1)
