Newsletter
Dear all,
I have some more strangeties to report...
On the 29th January, a Friday, in the evening, I went to the pictures. Sherlock Holmes was on in cinema 13. I love Sherlock Holmes.
I got a Christmas card from the society (when I was recognised for my web sleuthing) a few years back. I don’t get them any more. I miss them. What an honour!
The Sherlock Holmes museum is in Baker Street, London. The legendary Sherlock used to reside in Baker Street, so did one of my model agencies when I was a young blade, really. But, unlike that ace deducer, they weren’t at number 221b. Many a time I’d absentmindedly mellow down this mews, thick with ghosts, musing to the haunting keys of Ravenscroft’s intoxicating sax in Gerry Rafferty’s Baker Street.

Did you know that you can now leave comments on LOOKING INTO THE DARK PLACES articles and NEWSLETTERS?
I've set up a blog 'specially for this. There are probably better ways to do it, but for the moment due to my barefoot preacher ways, and lack of tech savvy this'll hopefully suffice.

ONLY 20 DAYS TO GO:

The ghosts come with the song, and they still home in on Sherlock...me too. Ravenscroft – Raven’s home or guard-den, very apt, for the crows are one of my companion, or watcher, birds.
They did a good spag-bol in the Italian café round the corner. I wasn’t a vegetarian then and sometimes I'd stop by there on the way to the agency. One day as I rounded the corner I said excuse me to a tall man in a grey top hat and coat standing in the doorway. He moved aside, so far aside that he disappeared. Countless times I’d see crowds of people, wearing garbs of all distinction and condition, walking towards me, and then straight through me. You kind of fizz when that happens. You've shivered for no apparent reason, haven't you?
I’d forgotten about these experiences till Friday night when I was sitting 'in the gods' waiting for the film to start. I watched with interest a slowly spinning brown-black sphere, about the size of a volley ball, on the other side of the cinema that appeared to be methodically surveying the audience in the lower part of the auditorium about 10 feet above their heads. It had a door in it. As I watched it weaving, partially glistening in the light from the screen, memories of the swooping beast I witnessed hunting souls at the Glastonbury Crop Circle Symposium in July 2006 rushed to my mind.
Attempting to alert my companion to this fascinating object I turned to her, looked back and it had gone. In its stead I saw the spectres of several resolutely solemn, middle-aged-looking, grey men, some of them be-whiskered, some wearing bowler hats, dressed in old-fashioned suits, filing down the stairs on the far side, some were even walking through the audience as if they weren’t there.
Street scenes in the film brought back distinct past life memories that I've previously written about (the report of the Lusitania sinking, for one).

An intriguing synchronicity with the Glastonbury nudge is that only the night before I’d by chance come across a video by the remarkable dowser, David Cowan and sent a link to it out to my mailing list subscribers. I have a great deal of respect for David’s work so I was delighted to have found his video. Readers may recall that I asked David’s advice on clearing and re-energising the cornered energy courses through St Mary’s church at Garsington, Oxfordshire. It was at the same Glastonbury Symposium I mentioned earlier that I put my question to another master dowser too, Hamish Miller, who had spoken there that day.
Adding to this strange connection: at dusk, and after dark, the skies over the garden of where I have been staying in Sydney have been swarming with large numbers of huge bats; an eerie sight that recalls the film, Jurassic Park. The bats, their wings over a metre span, swoop low into the garden, head height and below, right outside the back window. When I was in Queensland recently a man was put in hospital having contacted a deadly disease from a flying fox bite there.
Early Saturday morning, just a few hours after my trip to the cinema, I clicked into crop circle researcher, Colin Andrews’ website and was shocked to see that the wonderful Hamish Miller, mentioned above, had passed away only days earlier.
And I nearly forgot to tell you; the cinema I visited was in the MacQuarie Shopping Centre, somewhere that I've had strange encounters before, I’ve previously indicated its portal-ie nature before:
Looking back I should have expected something to occur really. My senses had felt more heightened that day than they had for a long time and I had amused myself off and on making the crystal teardrops on the chandelier sway by mentally focussing on them. I remembered passing time doing such things when I was a kid.
Over the years I have been asked many times whether I can recommend someone in the British Isles for hypnotherapy, regressions, NLP or reiki. Now, I certainly can. Her name is Lubna W. Yaqub and what makes her even more special is that she has just opened her new practice on a very sacred hill overlooking OXFORD. Hers is a Goddess calling and an opportunity not to be missed: www.oxfordspirespractice.com

Numerology Readings
Thanks to everyone who has shown interest in these new numerology projects. The readings continue to be successful, and I'm thrilled because the feedback has been tremendous. So far all of the Skype consultations have been with people from the UK, Ireland and the US., nobody from Australia yet - though I've read for a dozen or so people in person recently following recommendations. I realise that the time difference is a problem when I'm 11 hours ahead of GMT so I've decided to continue the special offer until 1st March for people who need some encouragement to get up a bit earlier or stay up later. I'm hoping to be back in the UK shortly after this date anyway.
I don't expect everyone to realise but the readings that I do are intensely focused and as they last for up to 1½ hours each they take a lot of my energy, which means that I have to limit myself to two readings per day.
I have also taken a new domain name which is devoted to my numerology and tarot readings, it is:

Public Figure readings
I've had several alternative suggestions for public figure readings as well. Depending upon the interest in this first one I'll possibly do another one later reading whoever tops the list in the reserves, as it were. I'll just mention that the closing date for the current suggestions is 4th February 2010.
The poll is posted in the 22nd January newsletter, if you haven't made your choice yet and want to. This newsletter is now public (no password) so if you know anyone who might like to vote then please give them this link:

I've also been asked to do a talk in Perth, Australia. Details are yet to be confirmed but if this is of interest to any Perth subscribers then please let me know and I'll pass on further information when I get it.
I've no more information on this at present.

Emails
I'm madly behind with my correspondence but I am also experiencing increasing email problems again. If you write and don't get an answer then please resend after a few days. I always do my best to respond to emails but sometimes the overwhelming number and the length of them makes this impossible. Please be assured that every email I receive is read and its contents noted.

Pledge
My resilience is tested every day but a long, long, time ago I made a pledge. Thank you dear Miha, for a song to re-affirm it (You were right).
