Another story I’ve read, but not heard, was that it may have got its name from the daughter of early settlers Rachel and Daniel Clowes. (1)

I do have an alternative idea, which I’ll get to after apprising you of some intriguing further information I have learnt of, and taken part in.

Brooding over the whole story is this:

Queen’s Land

Native Australian lore has it that a local mountain, ‘Round Hill’, is the home (and nest) of an ancient reptilian queen (which naturally offers an alternative explanation for the name of the state – Queensland). Further, they say, this area is taboo for women by decree of this lizard monarch. In all the time that I spent there I only saw one aboriginal man and no aboriginal women at all. Round Hill was, until 1970, the name of the town of 1770.

Satellite Map

On 1st April 1894 a young boy called Alan Robertson disappeared from a picnic party with friends and family in Agnes Water on his fourth birthday. Despite a long and arduous search as soon as they noticed him gone, and a thorough search by Aboriginal trackers and Bundaberg police for a fortnight, no trace of the youngster was ever found. (The Robertsons had bought the Clowes family property when Daniel Clowes had passed over.)

In recent times another young boy vanished near 1770, I am told, this time from the beach. Again, there has never been any sign of the little lad.

Phenomenon

I was staying with a friend who had just recently moved to Agnes Water from Perth in Western Australia. Her house is on top of a high hill in the town with beautiful and panoramic views of the coast, forests and mountains. My very first night there I was awoken by something (missing notes) and I got out of bed to see the moon, full, large, and bright orange, right outside my window. I went back to bed.
Later, during the day I remembered this incident and it began to puzzle me. For a start the moon wasn’t full for a few more days, and anyway thick bushes right outside the window block any clear view of the sky. Why was it then that I could see such an unblemished and perfectly round orange moon? (A reason for the colour, but not for the other anomalies, became possible when a few days later I noticed a field being burnt off several miles out of town. Smoke can discolour the moon as we are witnessing here in the UK with the dust from the eruption of Iceland’s Mt. Eyjafjallokull currently looming over us and painting marvellous moons and sunsets.) That I’d just gone back to bed with this huge ‘thing’ just outside the window seems strange but to the seasoned ‘experiencer’ it’s par for the course and bemuses us as much as it does any sceptic.

One clear morning while listening to my friend chatting I watched a classic saucer shaped UFO malingering over the 125km² Eurimbula National Park, just a few kilometres away to the north. It was at least five minutes before I thought to mention it whereupon we both went out onto the veranda and observed it with binoculars as it hovered, seemingly motionless, for about another five minutes before it vanished and then reappeared perhaps a few hundred metres further to the east. A minute or so later it disappeared again to take up position where it had been previously before suddenly blinking out altogether.

Many times in my friend’s house, and on the vacant block next door, I watched black featureless, though human-like shapes, ambling around. Sometimes they would move straight through me and I’d feel a sort of shiver as they did so but they didn’t appear to acknowledge me at all. There seemed to be both adults and children, usually adult ‘men’, walking alone or in little ‘family’ groups of up to five. The ‘men’, on their own, strode like warriors, erect and purposeful. This was obviously their domain, their home.
On my last night in Agnes a friend I had made came to say farewell and I started to tell him about these ‘silhouette’ beings that I’d been seeing and encountering...”They’re down on the land near the pub too”, he said. The pub is at the bottom of the hill that my host’s house is sited on. When I first saw them I had thought that these entities might be the ghosts of aboriginal people long gone but this had changed very quickly to a knowing that they are not beings that once lived but otherworld inhabitants who do live, on this planet but in a realm that is slightly to the side of ours.
As we sat chatting around the table I watched as a little grey-haired Maori spirit man slowly approached my friend (who hails from New Zealand); walking through the empty chairs, but skirting the table; he took hold of his arms with each of his hands and then lowering his head pressed his forehead into my friend’s for a long while...and then faded away.
I told my friend about it a little later as he was leaving. This potent ancestral greeting had touched something deep within him, I could tell by the even brighter spirit in his always vibrant eyes that he was delighted.

Working

Now, if you will ignore the fact that I tend to attract otherworldly encounters I think you can gather that this area of Queensland is a bit different to the norm (or the Sheila for that matter...ahem, think about that): We’ve got a domain ruled by a giant reptile queen, a deferential pretender, missing children, mango-moons, vanished ships, ‘silhouette beings’, UFOs, and a bunch of British naval explorers that bowed outa there before even one day was out.
Among those explorers on the 106 foot long, 29 foot (note: 16 and 29, two numbers prevalent) bark ‘Endeavour’ with J.C. was Freemason Joseph Banks (J.B.), whose contributions to Darwin’s ‘Origin of the Species’ theory help to reverberate it down to this day, as a theory taught as fact. I haven’t read it but I wonder if it mentions Her
In a Far Country

It isn’t always the celebrated places well known for their history of mystery, where secret lives are lived and occult public ceremonies transact; in fact it is rarely in the famous locales, though glamour-us they all are:
During my recent time in Australia I spent two spells in a little town called Agnes Water on the beautiful Discovery Coast of Queensland. The town has a Siamese twin called 1770, which is named for the year that Lieutenant James Cook landed there (on 24th May– his first footing in what was later to become known as Queensland and only his second embarkation in Australia. He didn’t hang around either, which is a bit odd seeing as there was abundant food, fresh water and wood to be had. He set sail in the Endeavour before dawn broke the next day.

As for the name of Agnes Water, the claim I heard tell round the town is that a schooner called ‘Agnes’ vanished near there in 1873, but no trace of it has ever been found.
To mark the moment an extraordinary monument had been prepared. It had an intriguing (and revealing) title too ‘THE DOORWAY OF DESTINY’ and it stood for 22 years. Yes, 22 years; the number (frequency) of the Master Mason, the Great Destroyer and the number of a Great Cycle of Creation. Not taking any chances, and likely to bolster perilous exercise too, the Australian military was dispatched to ‘resinate’ to the moment of the unveiling (opening) of this ‘doorway’ - from a distance. As the veil was breached 3 Canberra bombers from Amberley Air Base (AMBER-LEY) thundered across Round Hill to the raucous tune of a 21 gun salute fired from the destroyer H.M.A.S. QUEENSborough out in Bustard Bay. (4)
James Cook
Highness, Queen Liz of Round Hill?

In 1970 the Wind-saur Queen Liz visited Australia for the bicentenary and was invited to visit this most historic, and you’d think exceptionally worthy place. She declined and sent a bloke instead. I wonder why!

...This man too, like Banks, was a Freemason, and there’s the tip...Freemasons. Synonymous with secret plots and plans down the Ages, summoning countless faux-transmutations and guises, a black thread has
coursed through many a secret society, perhaps all eventually.

" And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”
Revelations 7:4

Members of this black thread, the shadows of the Darkness, I would suggest is who sent Cook (reputedly not a Freemason) there, to this part of the continent, this netherworld underworld, in the year that they did. Oh look, the day that he landed, the 24th May is the 144th day of the year!...and the feast day of St.Sarah of the 3 Mary’sand proffered by some as the daughter of Jesus. (2)

Cook was born at Samhain (27 October 1728 [7th November N.S.]) in Yorkshire married in Barking, Essex on the Winter Solstice in 1762, and died in the surf in Hawaii on St. Valentine’s Day. All entirely a coincidence of course...one that was designed, assigned and summoned before he drew breathe in this world. (As all agendas, Light and Dark, and their assignees and delegates always are.)

Yes, it definitely had something to do with the study of the transit of Venus too, the official mission and connected it is, as well. It was a journey to do with the study and encounters of, and with Time, space and dimensions. Venus is integral to that. They knew that, they knew that for a very long time.

I’ve indicated the number combinations of 1 and 7 many times in previous articles, and they appear here again in the number of the year 1770 – the date of the landing at ‘Round Hill’ (24 May 1770) gives 11177 numerologically. (Cook had first sailed into Australian Waters on the prime Esta date of 19th April 1770 – the beginning of Taurus, the House of Venus. His journal reveals that he first spotted “several people upon the Sea beach they appear'd to be of a very dark or black Colour” on St George’s (Saturn’s) Day – 23rd April. On 29th April (adds to 33 [of course]) 1770 Freemasons set foot in Ausar’s (Osiris’s) Land. The complete date gives the magickal 777.(3)

“Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.”
Revelation 14:1

And this brings bubbling to the surface the probable reason for the name of Agnes Water; that it derives from Agnus Dei ‘the Lamb of God’ (the perfect sacrifice), a motif of John the Baptist (J.B.), the Masons and Templars,
Priory of Sion et al. The local Catholic church is dedicated to St Agnes and there is also a Freemason’s lodge in the town: The Sir Joseph Banks Lodge. We remember that the original settler of this land was Rachel Clowes. Rachel means lamb. Clowes derives from the same word as cloven which relates to the feet of sheep and refers to the opposite of hills - ravines (c.f. Banks). Little Alan Robertson disappeared during the time of Aries, the sign of the ram.

So, adding to the mystery, we have clues that several secret societies (which includes the Church), many heads of the hydra, are entranced by this locale full of mysteries; and further that it is attracting (or luring) people with innate psychic awareness as well as some who study or are attracted to the supernatural. The folklore and history persuasively suggests that this place is a portal, and a very potent one. So, how about this:
The bloke sent to surrogate for the queen (just in case) was Sir Alan Mansfield (not Womansfield) who at the time was the Governor of Queensland and a Freemason. (At some point he was the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Queensland.) The name Alan means ‘rock’ (and you may recall was the first name of the little lad who vanished from the area all those years ago, Alan Robertson).
On the 25th May, 220 days (22) before the first day of 1771, Cook sailed out of the bay and on to the Great Barrier Reef, literally...it was the 11th June...

...which brings us to a mention, but only a brief one, of another subject altogether, though linked in several ways to the underlying scheme that is the 2012 MegaSpell:

FIFA FO FUM I smell the blood of...
On 11th June in 2010 the Football World Cup begins in Johannesburg, South Africa. Its logo is dominated by a scissor-kicking black’ silhouette man’. If you turn the logo upright and true (as a Mason always should) 90º the man is running in front of an opened pocket watch (Time) or clam shell, egg – or box, Pandora's Box? - Suggesting again a connection to Michael Jackson through Apollo and the rest of the Olympian god-gang. The man is holding a hot red, though flameless, ‘Olympic-style’ torch in his hand while he is chasing another ‘Olympic’ torch, this time a black one with a football where the flame oughta be. Footballs are frequently constructed of pentagon shapes but this one has a pronounced spiky black penta-
-gram in it with fiery orange-red rays. Pentagrams are symbols of Venus, and black ones of the absent Venus, or its predecessor Ops (now round Saturn under an alias) a common symbol of black magic and the triumph of darkness; entirely in keeping with the polar opposite symbolism of a black Venus outside of the clam shell instead of the white Botticelli one standing in it.

Bang on 777 days after this FIFA opening ceremony the Olympic opening ceremony takes place in the Temple of Time.

1: History of Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy
2: 144, the numbers of 144,000, 12x12, in code ll or 11. It refers, as well, to the Mayan Baktun (144,000 days) which current run concludes on 21/12/2012 - something that I find pretty interesting given that a b'ak'tun is 20 katun cycles thereby deriving all the requisite numbers. What are the odds of that?
